Because canvas is a woven material, engraving results can vary slightly depending on the fibers and texture of each pouch. Small variations in the natural canvas, including specks, fibers, weave, and coloration, are normal and contribute to the natural appearance of the product.

Bold, high-contrast artwork generally produces the best engraving results. Detailed artwork may also be possible depending on the design. Photographs cannot be engraved as traditional photographs; however, some photos may be converted into simplified silhouettes or engraving-compatible artwork.
